AJPD Receives Donations To Upgrade Police Firing Range

The Apache Junction Police Department is proud to announce that the police firing range has added concrete lanes to aid police personnel in properly qualifying with their duty firearms, which is a Departmental requirement in addition to Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training requirement (AZPOST).

This project was completed at no cost to the Apache Junction Police Department or the City based on the generous donation of the concrete by Cemex concrete company. Approximately $3,000 in high strength concrete was donated. Labor costs would bring the total donation to more than $6,000.
