AJUSD Offers Summer Food Program

This summer, the Apache Junction Unified School District will partner with the US Department of Agriculture to offer free nutritious breakfasts and lunches to children age 18 and younger at three locations in Apache Junction.

Locations/dates are:

  • Cactus Canyon Junior High
    801 W. Southern Ave.
    June 3-July 5, 2019*
    Monday-Friday –
    Breakfast 7:30-8:30 a.m.
    Lunch 11:30-1:00 p.m.
  • Four Peaks Elementary
    1785 N. Idaho Rd.,
    May 28-July 12, 2019*
    Monday-Friday –
    Breakfast 8:30-9:30 a.m.
    Lunch 11:30-1:00 p.m.
  • Salvation Army
    605 E. Broadway
    June 10-July 12, 2019*
    Lunch Only 11:30-12:30

* All sites will be closed on the 4th of July.

All children, ages 18 and under, are eligible for free meals, regardless of family income. Enrollment at an AJUSD school is not required.

Adult meals may be purchased onsite for $2.25 for breakfast and $3.75 for lunch. Only one free meal will be provided per child, per visit, and all food must be consumed on site. Menus will be posted online at www.ajusd.org and at all service locations.
