Villalobos brings 20+ years of experience to service agency
The Board of Directors of United Way of Pinal County (UWPC) announced today that Allen A. Villalobos will become the new Executive Director, effective May 1, 2019. “We are very pleased to have Allen join the organization. Allen is a tenured executive director, having spent twenty plus years with a larger United Way in California,” said Gregg Bargo, UWPC Board President.
“We look forward to Allen’s impact on our organization. His unique strengths will make our United Way of Pinal County more effective as we strive to continue our positive impact on the communities that we serve” continued Bargo.
“I am looking forward to more directly serving the community in which I live,” said Villalobos. “I am truly honored to have been selected to be a part of a very talented team of staff and volunteers at United Way of Pinal County,” he continued. “I look forward to applying the community engagement and program building skills I’ve gained to invest in strategies to improve the lives of families in Pinal County.”
United Way of Pinal County is a non–profit corporation incorporated in the state of Arizona in 1981 and governed by a volunteer board of directors. They currently provide funding for human services through 20 partner agencies serving Pinal County. Priorities are directed to the building blocks for a successful life in the areas of education, income and health. United Way’s office is located in Casa Grande.
