Transportation Tax Question is a Ballot-by-Mail Election

Voters must be registered by Oct. 10 to participate

The Pinal County Board of Supervisors voted to conduct their Regional Transportation question (Propositions 416 and 417) as an all ballot-by-mail election.

Registered active voters will be mailed a ballot on October 11, 2017 to the voter’s address that is in the Recorder’s database.

If a voter’s address needs to be updated, they will need to register again by October 10, 2017 to vote in the November 7 election. Voters can check the status of their current registration at Voter View: https://voter.az.gov/VoterView/Home.do.

The voting period lasts from when ballots are mailed on October 11 until 7 p.m. on November 7, 2017. Voters may also cast a ballot at a Pinal County Recorder’s office during business hours. In Apache Junction, the office is located at 575 N. Idaho Rd., Ste #800, and the hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Ballots are not forwarded by mail. Call the Recorder’s office at (520) 866-6179 if you have not received your ballot by October 18, 2017.
